Craig Watkins is the Managing Partner of Cornerstone Financial Group (CFG) in Shingle Springs, California, with over four decades of experience in the insurance and financial industry. He specializes in income distribution strategies, Social Security maximization, tax-advantaged planning, investment asset allocation, and legacy planning, with a focus on high net worth individuals, business owners, and corporations.
Craig acquired CFG in the 1990s and has since built a team-oriented practice centered on trust and personalized client relationships. He is also co-founder of an assisted care community, where he serves on the board overseeing roughly 100 residents and 70 employees. A contributing author to the book You're in Control: Planning the Most Important Retirement in the World – Yours, he regularly presents seminars on Social Security, income distribution, and asset allocation. He attended UC Berkeley on an athletic scholarship studying business and accounting.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys golf, riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, and sports. He is married to Margaret Watkins, has three daughters, and resides in Carson City, Nevada.
